Park Scavenger Hunts

Rotary Park Scavenger Hunts were created by Deanna Heistand and Anna Shackleford of Girl Scout Troop 2378. Follow the links below to view each of the scavenger hunt items and locations.

Trash Free Park

In an effort to promote environmental stewardship, trash receptacles are sparsely located throughout the park and park users must take out whatever is brought in with them. Families are welcome and encouraged to picnic in the park, but they must be responsible for taking their trash with them when they leave. This keeps the area clean and safe for our park wildlife. This program has been a great success and has been adopted by other communities across the country.
