The 2026 Clarksville Montgomery County Veterans Day Parade will take place on Saturday, Nov. 7, with pre-parade ceremonies set for 9 a.m. in front of the Historic Courthouse (south side) on Third Street in downtown Clarksville. This year’s keynote speaker is Congressman Matt Van Epps, who represents Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Congressman Van Epps served ten years on active duty as an Army aviator, deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan. He flew and commanded missions in both the AH-64D Apache and the MH-47G Chinook, serving with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) as a pilot-in-command and air mission commander.
This year's Veterans Day parade theme is "Veterans: Celebrating 250 Years of Courage and Sacrifice", a tribute to our Veterans' continuous service to our great community. Those unable to attend in person can watch the live stream on the ClarksvilleNow Facebook page or later on CDE Lightband’s Clarksville Community Network.
The parade will begin at 10 a.m. at the corner of N. Eighth and College Streets, next to the Sundquist Science Building at Austin Peay State University (APSU), with the reviewing stand at the Third Street side of the courthouse. The parade will proceed from College Street, left onto University Avenue, right onto Main Street, left onto 3rd Street, left onto Commerce Street, left onto University Avenue, right onto Franklin Street, left onto Eighth Street, and back to the APSU parking area.
