Nashville Symphony Hosts Free Concert at Downtown Commons on June 5

Montgomery County Parks and Recreation is delighted to welcome back the Nashville Symphony for a free outdoor concert, Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. This special community event will take place at the Downtown Commons, located at 215 Legion Street in Clarksville. 

Led by conductor Nathan Aspinall, the 14-time GRAMMY®-winning Nashville Symphony will present a vibrant program that includes “The Star-Spangled Banner,” “Fanfare on Amazing Grace,” Dvořák’s Slavonic Dance No. 3, Brahms’ Hungarian Dance No. 6, and highlights from Bizet’s Carmen. The evening will also include popular favorites like John Williams’ “Flight to Neverland” from Hook and Sousa’s “The Stars and Stripes Forever.” 

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy food from local food trucks, available for purchase from Tacos Azteca, Smash'n Beef Co., and Sassy's Food Truck, and the on-site restaurant, Wolf Down. Beer and other beverages will also be available for purchase. 

Guests are welcome to bring chairs and blankets to enjoy the concert comfortably. Please note that pets, coolers, smoking/vaping, and outside alcohol are not permitted on-site.
